Bought several cans of Behr Marquee semi-gloss for repainting rooms in our new house after it came highly recommended by the associate at the paint counter. Paid $40 per can!

This stuff is terrible! After applying only one coat, which is what this stuff touts that it does, there are thin spots on the walls where the old paint shows through. You have to go over it again and again to get any kind of decent coverage. Supposedly, one can was supposed to be more than enough for up to 450 sq.

ft. HA!

We have to go out and buy more (a different brand this time, of a closely matched color) to go over the living room and kitchen walls yet again, and to finish the hallway. Never buying this brand again!

Product or Service Mentioned: Behr Paint.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Sorry you got taken in by the hype. It isn't nearly as good a paint as they claim it is.

Unfortunately, unlike just about any other consumer product, paint companies can claim their paint can do anything without worrying about any repercussions. There is no regulations at all about what they can and cannot claim because so much depends on how it is applied.

No matter how well you apply it, they always can find some little fault that you made so they can't be held accountable for the failure to live up to label claims.

I would recommend finding a locally owned paint store that will have a little bit more accountability for what they are selling.

That's exactly what we're doing. The Glidden Premium plus Primer worked better in the room we used it in. Thanks for responding.

Umm...I'm not from CA, never been there! I'm from IL.

That's obvious! No one in LA would ever use Behr because it is a local LA company that has been foisting *** paint on the market for forty years! Everyone there knows it already!
