Behr deck cleaner is worthless
I have used Behr deck cleaner for years. This year it was nasty.
It did not work. Another product worked wonders to remove the mold off my deck.

It also scratches very easily.
I'm very disappointed in this product. I applied this paint last year, touched up the bad spots this spring, and it's still no good.

Looking for paint
Need a gallon of behr paint for my house.
The color is called outer banks (white)
Ive searched Home Depot and no luck
Dynasty one coat not covering
- Bought 2 gallons Behr Dynasty at Home Depot with a guarantee.
- It took two coats to cover.
- Wants a refund; has receipt and photos.
I bought 2 gallons of Behr Dynasty from Home Depot. I was told about the guarantee and I bought the required brushes.
Well it took 2 coats.
So I would like my money back.
I have the receipt along with pictures of the walls after one coat. Not sure who to talk to about it.

Were you aware of the caveat that only colors from the approved Marquee/Dynasty "One Coat" palette will cover in one coat? There are other warnings on the can too, noting that the wall must be well sealed to assure performance.
Deck stain not holding up
- Deck was stained last year and is peeling and chipping.
- Reaching customer service is difficult due to phone menus and long holds.
Deck was stained last year, its peeling, chipping and I cant get through to customer service. Phone menus , put on hold., figure the customer will get frustrated and hang up. So sad to see another good company swirl the drain with poor support.

- Bought 3 Behr gallons on March 23; two opened gallons had gooey clumps that fouled rollers and we returned the third to Home Depot.
I bought 3 gallons of paint on March 23 and we painted the following week and two of the gallons that we opened. There were gooey clumps of paint, and it made painting very difficult because it was getting on our rollers and on the walls.
We returned the third gallon to Home Depot in Collingwood although we did purchase them at the Home Depot in Barrie.
We were not pleased with the amount of extra work we had to do in order to pull these clumps of paint off our rollers. Theres obviously something wrong with the paint because weve never had issues before with Behr paints.

The surface being painted must be well sealed, or else streaking and "flashing" may occur. Most ceiling paints do not seal well.

The last 2-3 yrs I have noticed the studs showing partial shadows on the interior walls especially in the garaage Any thoughts? Thanks!
Sounds like poor insulation is causing the walls to soil unevenly. In older or poorly insulated homes, the walls show cold spot shadowing.

I strained my deck with Behr solid stain that was supposed to last 10 to 25 years. In March I was walking around on my decks and noticed multiple areas where the stain was peeling.
After not even one year the stain on the decks in multiple locations is peeling. The deck was power washed the previous summer and I also went over it with deck cleaner before staining.
I contacted Behr in March and sent them pictures of the stain and deck. They were supposed to send me 5 gallons but never sent it.
User's recommendation: Find another brand, they don't stand behind their product.

I purchased Behr paint years ago and was very pleased. Unfortunately I recently painted with Behr again and it was terrible!
Just putting up a picture scuffed the paint and the mark wouldn’t come off! It was their paint for scuff marks! It went on poorly and I had to use way more then the normal amount for coverage. Beware!
Try something else. I will never but it again.
