The paint is supposed to hide the wear and tear of older decks, which it did for almost a year. By the next year, though, some of our boards began to rot underneath the coating and by the second year, we could peal off large strips of the paint that covers up even more rotting wood.
We originally waited a full week of 80 degree temps to paint the deck, but apparently it still wasn't dry enough to prevent this product from destroying our deck. Never buying this product again and would love to see a class action lawsuit to recover the cost of the paint and replacement deck boards.
