We refinished our balcony deck with Behr Premium DeckOver in the Fall of 2015 following all directions to the letter, including using the prescribed Behr deck wash product first, and it did not even make it four months through one very mild winter without peeling off in big sheets. We didn't even use the deck after the application!

Two weeks ago we hired a CONTRACTOR who sanded the remaining product off and completely refinished it - again with DeckOver - and it is already bubbling and splitting!

After we told the contractor it's already coming up he researched and found out that there have been class action suits over this product dating back a few years. Why the heck is Home Depot still carrying/endorsing this product?!

Several class action lawsuits are in the works including California which filed on June 15 and Arizona which will soon follow. This stuff won't even stay on a deck in a dry, arid climate, let alone a humid climate like you have.

Call Behr's customer complaint department and demand action.Go to your home depot where you bought deck over and demand they do something as they are partnered up with Behr.
